The small village square and around Polis offers a relaxed friendly
atmosphere and Moustakallis restaurant, run by the local butcher
and his sons, is worth mention for the high quality of it's food
and it's particularly friendly and genuine family service. Try a
meze - an endless selection of delicacies - for £7.00 per
person
There are some small disco clubs (literally a basement dancefloor)
but they don't really get going until the summer season so things
are pretty quiet and tranquil.
Wherever you go, for a meze, a cypriot coffee, a beer, fresh squeezed
orange juice (a local speciality) you will find a warm welcome and
a friendly smile.
